India unveils US $175m package for Seychelles

India has announced a special economic package of US $175 million to support the development priorities of Seychelles, marking a new chapter in bilateral relations.

The package comprises US $125 million in rupee-denominated lines of credit and US $50 million in grant assistance, targeting key sectors such as public housing, mobility, infrastructure development, capacity building, and maritime security.
