Maritime teams sharpen skills in Seychelles
Cutlass Express 2026 moved into full swing this week with a tactical boarding exercise at the Seychelles Coast Guard, where multinational participants tested their skills in maritime interdiction.
The non-compliant boarding drill, conducted on board the patrol vessel La Flèche, brought together teams from Seychelles, Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, Madagascar, Malawi, Tunisia, Morocco, and India.
The exercise was officially launched on February 2 at the Seychelles Coast Guard, beginning with a week of classroom-based sessions before transitioning to practical activities.
