President heads to Dubai and India for key diplomatic mission

The President of the Republic of Seychelles, Dr Patrick Herminie, will undertake an official overseas mission from February 3 to 10, 2026, beginning with participation in the World Government Summit in Dubai and followed by a State visit to the Republic of India.

From February 3 to 5, President Herminie will join more than 35 heads of state and government at the World Government Summit – the largest in its history. The Summit provides a global platform for dialogue on the future of governance and public policy, bringing together international organisations, policymakers, business leaders, and thought leaders from over 40 countries. Discussions will focus on health systems, social well-being, emerging technologies, sustainable development, and strategies to enhance quality of life.
