Online media platform, the Seychelles News Agency officially resumed operations on Monday January 26, 2026, marking a significant step in the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen national information services and ensure timely, reliable access to public information.

To commemorate the occasion, Seychelles’ Vice-President Sebastien Pillay, who holds responsibility for the information portfolio, officially inaugurated the agency’s newly redesigned website during a short ceremony held at State House on Monday.
