New UNDP resident representative for Mauritius and Seychelles presents credentials to Minister Faure
Newly appointed United Nations Development Programme resident representative for Mauritius and Seychelles, Alka Bhatia, presented her credentials to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Diaspora, Barry Faure, at Maison Quéau de Quinssy, on Tuesday February 20.
This was during a courtesy call Ms Bhatia paid on Minister Faure.
Discussions between Ms Bhatia and Minister Faure focused on the long-standing cooperation between Seychelles and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), particularly the organisation’s support over the years, which has made a significant contribution to the country’s sustainable development.
