National Unity Committee outlines path forward on TRNUC recommendations and reparations

As Seychelles approaches three years since the submission of the Truth, Reconciliation and National Unity Commission (TRNUC) final report, concrete steps are now being taken to advance the process, with a clear legal and institutional roadmap beginning to take shape.

In an exclusive interview with Seychelles NATION, former President Danny Faure, chair of the newly established National Unity Committee, said the country has reached a critical juncture where action can no longer be delayed – particularly on compensation, unfinished TRNUC work, and long-term reconciliation.
