IDC CEO denies executive pressure in Assomption Island planning

Chief executive of the Islands Development Company (IDC) and Green Island Construction Company (GICC), Cyril Bonnelame, has told the Commission of Inquiry into the lease and development of Assomption Island that he is not aware of any pressure exerted by the Executive during the planning and approval process of the proposed hotel project.

Mr Bonnelame testified yesterday before the Commission, chaired by Judge Mathilda Twomey at the Court of Appeal, Palais de Justice, Ile du Port, during the second day of hearings.
