New SNYC chief executive pledges meaningful youth participation
The Seychelles National Youth Council (SNYC) has appointed Michel Pierre as its new chief executive. A familiar face in the field of volunteerism, Mr Pierre previously worked as a youth worker before joining the Citizens Engagement Platform Seychelles (Ceps) in 2014, where he served as events and programmes manager and later as chief executive (CEO) from 2017 to 2021. At the time of his appointment to SNYC, he was grants coordinator at the Seychelles Conservation and Climate Adaptation Trust (SeyCCAT).
