SDF officers rise in rank
President Patrick Herminie, who is also the Commander-in-Chief of the Seychelles Defence Forces, yesterday promoted nine army officers and commissioned two others in a special annual promotion and commissioning ceremony held at State House.
The selected officers promoted to the next rank were in accordance with existing criteria for promotion within the Seychelles Defence Forces (SDF). The highest-ranking flagged officers to be promoted were Major Irene Pompee, Major Jude Raoul and Major Hans Radegonde, who rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
