SFRSA sees a 30% rise in incidents for 2025
The Seychelles Fire and Rescue Services Agency responded to 267 fire-related and 157 non-fire-related incidents from January to December 2025.
During the year, the Seychelles Fire and Rescue Services Agency (SFRSA) responded to a total of 424 incidents, reflecting a 30 percent increase compared to the 326 incidents recorded in 2024. This increase is particularly alarming, as the 267 fire-related incidents represent an 85.4 percent rise compared to the previous year, when SFRSA responded to 144 fire-related incidents.
