SPTC addresses isolated incident of double bus fare charging
The Seychelles Public Transport Corporation has confirmed that there was a system malfunction on one of its buses on Friday November 21, 2025.
This resulted in a small number of commuters being inadvertently charged twice when tapping their bus cards. In a press release issued over the weekend, the company said it was in the process of issuing automatic refunds to all affected cards.
Commuters who do not receive their refund by the end of business on Monday November 24, 2025, should contact the SPTC Customer Service department for further assistance on phone number 432 5252.
