Hawksbill turtles: Essential tips and need to know for the nesting season in Seychelles

It’s Hawksbill turtle nesting season once again with females coming ashore to nest around our islands!

The Hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata, or ‘kare’) is one of the sea turtle species that nest in Seychelles, the other being the Green turtle (Chelonia mydas, or ‘torti-d-mer’).
