Foreign workers still lodging cases of mistreatment

As of 2025, the employment department has received a total of 168 complaints relating to mistreatment of workers, including 127 from Seychellois and 41 from migrant employees.

Of these, 47 cases are currently being monitored, while 55 are being investigated. The department has issued 103 directives to address various situations, and 26 instances of compliance have been recorded.
