Eleven nominations submitted on Nomination Day 2 - National Assembly elections
Eleven nominations – from seven political parties and four independent candidates – were submitted to the Electoral Commission Seychelles (ECS) yesterday, on the second Nomination Day.
Between the hours of 9am and just after 1pm, the ECS headquarters, Mont Fleuri, was buzzing as Electoral Officers verified the nomination packs of more than 100 potential candidates, who will contest the upcoming National Assembly elections in September.
