Seychelles Centre of Excellence officially operational
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Seychelles Centre of Excellence was officially inaugurated yesterday at the Military Training and Support Centre (MTSC) auditorium at Ile Perseverance.
Seychelles has been providing training to neighbouring countries for years, and with this new centre, the country now hosts a regional hub for training, operational mentoring, and strengthening maritime law enforcement agencies across the Indian Ocean region. The United States is partnering with UNODC to finance this programme.
