LWMA launches pilot door-to-door waste collection

The Landscape and Waste Management Agency on Saturday allocated a total of 89 new bins across three areas namely Perseverance 1 semi-detached houses, Au Cap (Turtle Bay), and Anse à la Mouche, as part of its ‘Door to Door Waste Collection’ pilot initiative.

The objective of this pilot project is to gather valuable insights to fully comprehend the requirements necessary for this type of waste collection. The findings will support more informed and effective decision-making for waste collection practices across the country. The project is scheduled to span a total of six months, starting on August 9, 2025 and ending on January 31, 2026.
