ECOFISH hosts regional workshop to strengthen fisheries research network

The Ecofish project of the Indian Ocean Commission is currently conducting a regional consultative and knowledge sharing workshop at the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay resort and casino.

The week-long event is focusing on inventory and assessment of the training extension network and research institutions. Launched in July 2019, the Ecofish project is a collaborative effort led by the European Union (EU), with support from the 11th European Development Fund (EDF), with a total funding of 28 million euros over 62 months.
