AMSA Seychelles sponsors medical support for CJSOI volleyball team

 Seychelles is proud to be hosting the upcoming 13th Commission de la Jeunesse et des Sports de l’Océan Indien (CJSOI) Games, a significant sporting event that celebrates youth, talent, and regional unity across the Indian Ocean.

In response to a sponsorship request made by Elsia Vidot, vice-chairperson of the Seychelles Volleyball Federation, AMSA Medical Centre has committed to supporting the volleyball teams (men and women) through a comprehensive medical and logistical contribution.

The sponsorship includes:

- Two complete First Aid kits for athletes’ safety during the tournament at an estimated value of R4,000,

- 80 AMSA jerseys for training and match preparation of players and staff. Estimated value: R40,000.

- Medical presence at volleyball matches: A full medical team comprising an emergency doctor and two experienced nurses will be stationed during all Seychelles volleyball matches. Estimated contribution: (services + salary coverage) R25,000 / day for seven days = R175,000

The total sponsorship value is R 219,000.00

This support ensures that athletes can compete with confidence, knowing that their health and safety are well looked after.

A spokesperson from AMSA Medical Centre, stated:
