Andy Asba sworn in as Master of the Supreme Court
Andy Asba was officially sworn in yesterday as Master of the Supreme Court of Seychelles in a ceremony held at State House. His appointment by President Wavel Ramkalawan, followed recommendations from the Constitutional Appointments Authority (CAA) as stipulated by Article 127 of the country’s Constitution.
The ceremony included the taking of two oaths: the Oath of Allegiance and the Judicial Oath. Following his swearing-in, Mr Asba shared his sentiments, stating it was an honour and a privilege to have been appointed in the post.
