The second Youth for Youth Financial Education Ambassadors programme was officially launched on Tuesday, with a new cohort of 12 youngsters aged between 16 and 25 years.

The ceremony at the Dockland auditorium marked a significant milestone in promoting financial literacy among Seychelles’ youth.

This was done in the presence of the First Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Seychelles (CBS), Brian Commettant; Second Deputy Governor of CBS, Mike Tirant; members of the National Financial Education Steering Committee; and the financial education ambassadors.

The ambassadors, who will serve from May 2025 to May 2026, are Abu Larue, Amariah Rigodon, Dania Dupres, Dominic Cafrine, Elle Wirtz, Elsia Françoise, Narisha Ernesta, Hayden Monthy, Keziah Bonnelame, Pamela Henriette, Rebecca Euphrasie, and Alisha Sharma.

The Youth for Youth Financial Education Ambassadors programme is designed to foster financial education through a six-month knowledge and skills development course, followed by participation in financial education events and community projects.
