Seychelles police add 12 vehicles to their fleet

The Seychelles police force has officially added a dozen newly-acquired vehicles to its fleet as part of its continued efforts to enhance public safety and service delivery.
The official ceremony took place yesterday morning at the Victoria Gymnasium car park.
According to the police, they paid the sum of R2,044,943.35 for 16 vehicles and have so far received the first 12 which they paid R1,680,000.00 for as levy. Commissioner of police Ted Barbé said this development reflects the ongoing commitment of the police department to strengthen its operational capacity and ensuring greater mobility and visibility across the country, especially considering the various activities planned for this year.
