The Seychelles Fisheries Authority and the Association of Fish Processors Seychelles have signed a memorandum of understanding in relation to their co-participation in the Seafood Global EXPO to be held in Barcelona, Spain from May 6-8, 2025.
Seafood Expo events deliver the highest quality trade events for seafood producers, buyers and suppliers from around the world. It therefore provides an important opportunity for local fish processors and fish exporters to establish contacts and explore new markets, including being exposed to advance technology in fish processing.
The agreement was signed by the chief executive of the Seychelles Fisheries Authority (SFA) Dr Jan Robinson and the chairman of the Association of Fish Processors Seychelles (AFPES) Louis Bossy, in a short ceremony held yesterday morning at the SFA headquarters, Fishing Port. Present were staff of SFA and other members of the association. It is the third time that SFA has helped AFPES for its involvement in the Seafood Global EXPO in Barcelona.
