Electoral Commission engages with police ahead of September elections

As part of its ongoing preparations for the presidential and parliamentary elections set for September 2025, the Electoral Commission of Seychelles is continuing its series of training sessions with key stakeholders.

The first session for this year was with a group of senior officers from the Seychelles police force held yesterday at the commission’s headquarters, Mont Fleuri. This targeted training, for station and regional commanders from across the country, was to strengthen inter-agency collaboration and ensure they are well-prepared to support the electoral process. It is part of the commission’s mission to ensuring a free, fair efficient and cost-effective election.
