CBS donates copies of commemorative book to education ministry

The Central Bank Seychelles has donated a commemorative book depicting its historical journey since its establishment in 1978, to the education ministry.

Governor of the Central Bank of Seychelles (CBS) Caroline Abel handed over copies of the book to students of Plaisance primary and Mont Fleuri secondary schools during a short ceremony yesterday morning at the ministry’s headquarters, Mont Fleuri.

“The book entitled ‘Central Bank of Seychelles – Celebrating 40 years of Central Banking,’ emerged from the realisation that the bank’s history was dispersed across various documents, multimedia resources, and the recollections of former employees,” explained Governor Abel.
