Provisional nomination dates

April 12 and 14 respectively

The provisional dates for the nomination of candidates for the presidential and the National Assembly elections scheduled for September 27, 2025, are April 12, 2025 and April 14, 2025 respectively. The exercise will be between 9am and 1pm.

The announcement was made by the chairperson of the Electoral Commission of Seychelles, Wendy Didon, during a press conference held yesterday morning at the commission’s headquarters, Mont Fleuri. Present were representatives of political parties and the media. The press conference was to explain the procedures and requirements for nomination of candidates for the election, as per the Electoral Act 27 of 2014.
