Social media influencer detained |31 March 2025

Seychelles NATION has learned that social media influencer, Bernard Sullivan, was yesterday morning arrested by police officers at his residence in Beau Vallon, allegedly in connection to a social media post targeting elected member of the St Louis district in the National Assembly, Sathya Naidu, which went viral last week.

Our newspaper contacted Mr Sullivan’s counsel, Basil Hoareau, late yesterday afternoon, who confirmed the arrest and said his client was being detained at the Beau Vallon police station, without providing further details about the incident.
