Iconic ‘I Love Seychelles’ banner fully restored |11 March 2025

The famous ‘I Love Seychelles’ banner in central Victoria has been restored, a week after some of the letters were vandalised, the Office of the Mayor of Victoria has confirmed.

The damage to two of the letters, specifically the letter 'S', was swiftly addressed by a generous anonymous individual who agreed to restore the banner for free, giving it its familiar vibrant look.

The Office of the Mayor shared photos of the repair work late last week and speaking to Seychelles NATION yesterday, acting Mayor, Lydia Charlie, expressed her appreciation for the gesture.
