VTC for the Disabled gets donation of medical items for its sick bay

In a significant step towards enhancing the health and well-being of students at the Vocational Training Centre (VTC), Winslow Naya Consulting and Ramp Up Rise Up Association have generously sponsored a range of medical items for the sick bay at the VTC for the Disabled located at North East Point.

The initiative aims to improve the facilities available to students with disabilities, ensuring they have access to essential medical care while pursuing their vocational training.

The sponsorship includes vital medical supplies such as two first aid kits, six sets of bed sheets, four pillows, two standing fan, and some hand towels.

These resources will not only provide immediate care in case of emergency situations, but will also contribute to a safer learning environment for all students.

During the presentation, held last Friday, Winslow Naya Consulting director expressed their commitment to supporting the disabled community.

“We believe that every individual deserves the chance to succeed, and providing essential medical resources is a crucial part of ensuring that our students can focus on their training without health-related concerns,” said Mr Naya.

On behalf of the VTC, principal secretary of the Family department, Mike Morel, thanked the sponsors for their generosity and support in ensuring the wellbeing of the disabled persons at the centre.

He said the initiative represents a vital step in creating a nurturing space where students can pursue their goals with peace of mind regarding their health.

The centre will be reopening its doors soon and they invite other individuals that would like to adopt the centre or even provide some support and sponsorships of items which the students can make use of during their training to please come forward.

The partnership between Winslow Naya Consulting and Ramp Up Rise Up Association and the VTC highlights the importance of community support in fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
