Suggestion for exploratory harvesting of crabs in the region

After a successful exploratory harvesting of sea cucumber by Seychellois operators in the Joint Management Area (JMA) of the Mascarene Plateau Region, Seychelles is set to start the exploratory harvesting of crabs in the region.

The statement was made by Philippe Michaud, co-chair the Technical Committee of the Joint Commission of the Extended Continental Shelf.

JMA technical committee of Seychelles and Mauritian experts were meeting at the Savoy Seychelles Resort & Spa, Beau Vallon to discuss issues related to recent and past activities and decisions by the commission of the joint continental shelf.
