STC Hypermarket’s rear car park undergoes remedial resurfacing work |22 February 2025

Remedial work in progress to improve the surface of the car park
Remedial work is presently taking place on the rear car park of the Seychelles Trading Company (STC) Bois De Rose Hypermarket to make it more accessible and conducive for clients.
This section of the car park of the Bois De Rose shopping complex is therefore temporary closed for vehicles until early March 2025 when it will be re-opened.
Meanwhile, other parking areas around the shopping complex remain open.
The closed car park is paved with small design pavement bricks with a hole in the middle, while the holes make it very inconvenient to maneuver, especially during rain.
Coarse aggregates mixed with cement are being used to fill up the holes to improve the surface.
Work on the 3500 square-metre car park, financed by STC, is being done by Chris Maintenance at a cost of R280,000.
