Ahmed Maurice’s goal in added-time salvages a point for St Louis
A late goal in added-time by Ahmed Maurice earned St Louis a hard-earned point following their 1-1 draw with PTL Bazar Brothers in the Absa Premier League on Thursday at Stad Linite – a result that benefited neither side’s’ objective for the remainder of the season.
With a bolstered team, compared to the side who drew 0-0 with PTL Bazar Brothers early in the first round of the league, defending league champions St Louis arrived at Stad Linite for their second leg encounter against Bazar Brothers who are still fighting for their status in the top flight.
St Louis recently saved what was a disappointing season with few results which promised the possibility of a title defence, although a lot of fortune was required.
