Youth delegates share Indian cultural exchange experience |21 February 2025

Following the Youth Exchange Programme (YEP) of the National Cadet Corps in India from January 14 to 30, six young Seychellois who represented the Seychelles National Youth Council shared their experience gained from the Indian cultural exchange programme.

Nineteen-year-old Rohan Albert, a Diploma in Construction student at the Seychelles Institute of Technology (SIT), said India has truly exceeded his expectations in ways he can hardly describe.

He explained that the warmth and hospitality of the local community left a long-lasting impression on him, a sentiment that was further reinforced during their visit to the Seychelles high commissioner to India, Lalatiana Accouche.
