Yesterday, social media and WhatsApp were flooded with alarming messages about an alleged attempted kidnapping of a young girl from the Plaisance secondary school, and the rumors quickly spread across the community, causing widespread panic.

The Ministry of Education has stepped in to clarify the situation and address the concerns of parents and the public.
