Alliance du Changement claims resounding victory

The Alliance du Changement, composed of Nouveaux Démocrates, Parti Travailliste (PTR), Mouvement Militant Mauricien (MMM) and Rezistans ek Alternativ (REA), has secured a decisive victory in Mauritius’ 2024 parliamentary election.

Voting took place on Sunday, November 10, and the counting process began the following day. At the time of going to press yesterday, some voting districts were still finalising their results but the general results showed a clear victory of the opposition party.
