Eddy Johnson returns to Seychelles after 71 years

Seventy-one years after leaving Seychelles, Eddy Johnson, now based in Sydney, Australia, recently returned to the islands for a trip down memory lane.

Eddy’s family arrived in Seychelles in December 1949 when his father, Seventh-day Adventist pastor Lewis Johnson, was invited to lead the church in Victoria. Eddy and his family left Seychelles three years later when he was aged 11. May 3, 2024 marked 71 years since he last set foot in Seychelles.
