Triplets celebrate their 1st birthday
Yesterday was a day of triple celebrations as it marked the 1st birthday of the adorable triplets: Sandrina, Sandrica, and Sandria.
Their special day was made even more memorable as they, along with their parents and nanny, indulged in a blissful ‘Day at the Spa’ in Mont Fleuri.
The triplets were greeted with warm smiles as they entered the tranquil spa retreat. Welcomed by the attentive staff, the little girls were ushered to their designated spaces for a day of pampering.
Each of the girls, with their unique personalities shining through, embraced the experience in their own way.
Sandy Moncherry, father of the delightful triplets, reflected on the past year as one filled with challenges. However, he expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of many individuals and the determination exhibited by both himself and the triplets’ mother, Julienne Jean.
Together, they navigated the ups and downs of parenthood, overcoming obstacles with resilience and a united front. Mr Moncherry emphasised that despite the difficulties, the journey has been incredibly rewarding,
“We had to make some adaptation in every aspect of our lives,” he said.
Ms Jean and Mr Monchery took the opportunity to say a special thank you to many individuals including their nanny, whom they hope will remain with them for a long time, the hospital staff and Mr Moncherry’s workplace.
They also thanked the Children’s Fund, First Lady Linda Ramkalawan and President Wavel Ramkalawan.
“I hope this year he includes us on his agenda and get a chance to meet us and the girls,” added Mr Moncherry, who is grateful to all the work done to date to assist parents with multiple children such as the introduction of new regulations for financial assistance.
Finally, the moment arrived for the triplets to blow on their one candle. The room filled with warmth and joy as everyone sang ‘Happy Birthday’ while the triplets’ faces beamed with excitement.
