Minister Fonseka conducts Christmas tour |26 December 2023
The Internal Affairs minister, Errol Fonseka, held his annual Christmas tour yesterday morning, visiting ten facilities and services falling under the ministry’s portfolio.
Minister Fonseka’s rounds started at 7am and covered the Central Police Station in Victoria where he engaged with staff at the reception, communication and Command Centre, and the traffic section, as well as the Beau Vallon Police Station. He also stopped at the headquarters of the Seychelles Fire and Rescue Services Agency, Reflecs3, on Bois de Rose avenue, the Immigration at the Seychelles International Airport, the airport police sub-station and the Seychelles Prison, in Montagne Posée.
The minister had best wishes and words of encouragement for the employees on duty on Christmas Day and thanked them for their continued dedication towards the profession, to ensure the country remains safe at all times.
