Vistra, a prominent global Fund and Corporate Service provider, has demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility by making generous donations to La Rosière crèche and Mont Fleuri secondary school.

As part of its CSR, Vistra as a group places a strong emphasis on supporting children and education. In line with this commitment, Vistra Seychelles initiated an outreach programme, engaging with various schools to see what their specific needs and requirements were. Its primary focus was schools where their employees’ children were enrolled.

Following an assessment of the needs presented by each school, Vistra pledged to enhance educational environments. The specific donations include 65 chairs for La Rosière crèche, a projector to enrich the teaching and learning experience at Mont Fleuri secondary school, along with essential school accessories for the less fortunate such as school bags, drawing sets and scientific calculators. Additionally, Vistra will provide beds and mattresses for the proposed refurbishment of the sick bay at Grand Anse Mahé primary school, with the donation set to be implemented at the commencement of the school year in January.

Vistra has more than 5,000 professionals operating in over 45 jurisdictions, and their Seychelles office is based at Eden Plaza. Neil Puresh, the managing director, noted that “Vistra is happy to contribute to the children’s education and well-being. The children of Seychelles represent our future, who will help shape the growth and development of the country. With the right tools and support, they will no doubt achieve great heights and Vistra is proud to be a modest contributor towards that.”

Representatives of the two schools as well as the Ministry of Education welcomed the donation and thanked the company for helping out with important materials for the smooth running of the school and well-being of the children.
