La Passe, Bel Air, Muccia lead the standings
After the first series of matches played in the three local leagues, La Digue side La Passe, Bel Air and Muccia are leading the Seychelles Football Federation’s Premier League, Championship and League One respectively.
In the Premier League, La Passe are leading on seven points from two wins and a draw, having scored six goals, while conceding three.
This season’s President’s Cup winners and defending league champions Foresters are second, also on seven points from two wins and a draw, but boast an inferior goal difference, after scoring five and conceding three.
With two wins and one defeat out of their three matches, St Louis are currently third on six points, with six goals scored and three conceded, ahead of PTL Bazar Brothers who are fourth overall on five points after registering a win and two draws, with three goals for and two against.
Praslin side Côte d’Or are fifth overall on four points from a win, a draw and a defeat, having scored three goals and conceded three, while fellow islanders LightStars are sixth in the ranking with the same statistics, but an inferior goal difference. LightStars have scored two goals and let in two.
Former giants St Michel are occupying the seventh overall spot in the league on three points following a win and two defeats. They have scored four goals and conceded three.
The other La Digue side in the league – Anse Reunion – are presently eighth overall, also on three points from a win and two defeats, but are behind due to their inferior goal difference, after having scored three goals and conceded four.
With two draws and a defeat, Defence Forces Fc are lying ninth on the table on two points with one goal in their favour and three against them, while Glacis-based Northern Dynamo are presently carrying the weight of the league table without any point after suffering three defeats in all the matches played.
They have scored only one goal, while conceding eight.
SFF Championship
In the Championship, Bel Air are presently leadingwith a maximum nine points from three wins in as many matches. They have scored 16 goals and conceded three.
Bel Air were in action yesterday where they trounced Mont Fleuri 8-1 to maintain their dominance.
With two wins and one defeat, Real Maldive are presently occupying the second overall spot on the table with six points, having scored 11 goals and conceded seven.
Anse Boileau-based Tigers are presently third overall on four points following a win and a draw, with five goals in their favour and three against them.
Also with a win and a draw, LMS United are currently fourth overall, this is due to an inferior goal difference – three for and two against – compared to Tigers.
Au Cap, who have collected a victory and a defeat, are fifth on three points with seven goals for and four against, ahead of sixth-placed Marine Maintenance who are also on three points from a win and a defeat, but have an inferior goal difference (seven for and six against).
Rovers are presently seventh overall on three points, sharing the same statistics with Au Cap and Marine Maintenance, but are behind due to an inferior goal difference after having scored four and conceded three.
In the eighth overall position are Boscowho have so far collected only one point following two defeats and a draw out of three matches played. They havescored three goals and conceded 10.
The defeat against Bel Air yesterday placed Mont Fleuri ninth overall on the league table with only one point from two defeats and a draw out of three matches played.They have scored five goals, while conceding 14.
At the bottom of the table are Revengers from Praslin who are yet to collect their first point in the league following two defeats in as many matches played.They have scored once, but conceded 10 times.
SFF League One
Muccia– formerly Perseverance – are leading the League One ranking with maximum nine points from three wins out of three matches played.They have scored 10 goals without conceding any so far.
Glacis are presently second on seven points after registering two wins and a draw in their three matches played, scoring nine goals and conceding four.
Third overall are Bel Ombre who have six points from two victories in as many matches, having scored six goals and conceded two.
Baie Lazare are currently third, also on six points following two victories out of two matches, scoring four goals without conceding any so far.
With four points collected from a win, a draw and a defeat out of three matches, Maverick are in the fifth overall spot on the League One table. They have scored six goals, while letting in seven.
Beau Vallon are sixth on three points from a win and a loss out of two matches played, with three goals scored and two conceded.
With a win and two defeats out of their three matches played, West Boys United are presently seventh overall on three points after scoring four goals and conceding four.
Without a win in their three matches played, Mont Buxton are presently eighth overalland are also without a point after scoring two goalsand conceding seven. They are ahead of ninth-placed Rangers who are also without a point after two defeats out of two matches played. Praslin-based Rangers have scored a single goal, while letting in six.
Anse Royale are at the bottom of the table after losing all their three matches played so far, having scored four goals, while conceding 17.
