Daphne Jasmine, Deputy of Primary with over 20 years of teaching experience, shares her profound love for her profession and the values that have become an integral part of her journey. Her dedication to education shines through her words and actions.

“Teaching has always been my passion, and I can honestly say I love my job as a teacher, no matter where I am. Joining the International School of Success (ISS) nearly 20 years ago was an incredible opportunity. What has kept me motivated is the joy of working with children and witnessing their success in life.

“The values of ISS have become a fundamental part of who I am, both as an educator and as a person. Respect guides my interactions with students, colleagues, and parents, fostering a positive and inclusive environment. Determination reminds me to persevere, especially when faced with challenges in education. Tolerance helps me embrace diversity and ensure every child's unique needs are met. And commitment is the driving force behind my dedication to the growth and development of each student.

“To my colleagues, I would say let's continue to embrace the privilege and responsibility of shaping young minds. To my students, remember that learning is a lifelong journey, and your determination will lead to success. And to the broader educational community, let's uphold and champion the values that unite us and drive us to make a positive impact on the world.”

Mrs Jasmine's commitment to education and her embodiment of ISS values are an inspiration to all those who have had the privilege of working with her. Her dedication continues to shape the lives of students and contribute to the betterment of society.

Lorna Cedras, a primary SEN teacher with over 15 years of experience, shares her insights and experiences as an educator. Her remarkable career spans over two decades in the public school system, followed by a rewarding journey of over 15 years in the private education sector.

Mrs Cedras, a respected figure in the field of special education needs (SEN), discusses the driving force behind her dedication: the children.

“I started my journey in education over 20 years ago in the public school system. Those years were filled with incredible challenges and opportunities to make a difference in the lives of countless students. Then, over 15 years ago, I made the transition to a private school setting. This shift allowed me to further tailor my teaching approach to meet the unique needs of students, particularly those with special education needs.

“Working with SEN students has its challenges, but the rewards far outweigh them. The challenge lies in tailoring teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and abilities. However, the immense reward is seeing the progress these students make. When a child with SEN achieves a goal or milestone, it's a moment of pure joy and affirmation that what we do as educators truly matters.

Mrs Cedras' dedication and passion for education continue to make a profound impact on students' lives, inspiring educators and students alike.

Regis Esparon, a devoted handyman with two decades of service at the International School of Success (ISS), shares his incredible journey and unwavering dedication to the school. Every corner and inch of this building holds special memories, and my priority is to keep it safe and up to standard for the teachers and children who depend on it.

“ISS has evolved in many ways, from embracing new technologies to expanding its facilities. I've been fortunate to witness and contribute to this evolution. My work involves adapting to these changes, ensuring that the school's infrastructure keeps pace with its growth and development. This ensures that ISS remains a safe and modern educational institution.

“To the ISS community and all those who work behind the scenes to support education, I would say that every role, no matter how seemingly small, contributes to the greater mission of education. We are all part of a team that ensures students have the best possible environment for learning and growing. Let's continue to do our best, knowing that our efforts make a difference.”
