MCB Seychelles launches its upgraded JUICE Mobile Banking App |20 April 2023

Pursuing its journey of innovation in online banking, MCB Seychelles has launched its upgraded JUICE mobile banking app.

The new app is available for download on smartphones using Android, Apple and Huawei operating systems and provides an enhanced banking experience to its users.

MCB Seychelles encourages both existing or potential users to download and register on the new MCB Juice Seychelles app to access its numerous new benefits.

The new JUICE app features a customisable screen where users can add quick links containing their more frequently accessed menus. It also includes an option that enables users to filter transactions by type, useful to cluster credit or debit entries separately.

New self-service features allow customers to manage their own cards through toggle controls that enable or disable specific types of card transactions such as online payments.

The new app introduces an option for customers to lock their cards for security reasons in case they lose them.

An enhanced security feature of the app consists of One Time Passwords (OTP) that will be sent via SMS to customers for the validation of any transfers above the threshold of R500.

All registered users of JUICE are encouraged to migrate to the new app, before June 16, 2023, the cut-off date for the current version of the app.

Upon migrating to the new version of JUICE, any already recorded information such as registered beneficiaries will become automatically available.

During an extensive campaign that is being kicked off today, the bank shall be maintaining active response lines for customer queries and technical assistance.

“The new version of JUICE has been designed with our customers in mind. JUICE has already been adopted by 40% of our customer base and we are continuously receiving great reviews on our existing app. Recently, a wheelchair-bound customer was praising the app for allowing her to be independent with her bill payments. ‘Mon’n juice ou’ is becoming a familiar way of confirming a payment and the upgraded app will enable customers to send a summary of their transfer to the beneficiary via their preferred messaging app. We want to ‘Gard lavi cool’ by regularly enhancing our app for customers to seamlessly access a growing range of our banking services on a 24/7 basis. There are a number of exciting new app features in the pipeline as we continue to listen to the voice of our valued customers to keep improvingJUICE,” says Bernard Jackson, managing director of MCB Seychelles.
