Airtel Seychelles has launched its new Home Broadband Unlimited internet, urging its customers to seize this opportunity to get their new router or upgrade their existing router to the new plan, which provides great value for money.

It was the company’s managing director, Amadou Dina Mahamat, who launched the new product at Airtel House on Saturday morning, as part of activities, to mark the company’s silver jubilee celebration this year.

He said that since internet has become part of everyday life, “it has become something crucial to our life. For those who study, for those who work, for those who want to entertain, internet has revolutionised the way we live”.

He said Airtel Seychelles has therefore taken its time to listen to its customers, analysed their behaviour and came up with a product that will suit their daily needs.

Mr Dina described the new product, as “something unique, another milestone, and another great achievement for Airtel Seychelles”.

With the new plan, Airtel Seychelles is offering four new internet packages starting with the lowest at R799, which offers 10GB daily till the end of the month, the second is a package worth R949 giving 15GB daily, the third package is R1199 for 20GB daily and lastly the package worth R1499 giving 25GB daily till the end of the month.

“This is the first of its kind, in terms of value for money,” said Mr Dina, stating it also comes will less hassle since it was wireless connectivity, “no fiber to pull, no installation cost, no need to drill the wall, you just plug in your device and start browsing at a full 4G speed.”

Airtel Seychelles is advising that this is a limited promotion and is on a “first come, first serve basis”.

Clients who already have their routers and want to go on the new promotion can walk into any of Airtel Seychelles shops and get upgraded to the new package for free. Customers can either register at the Airtel offices for their router or request home delivery.

The promotion kicked off soon after the launch on Saturday with a roadshow from Airtel House to Victoria town, where the company had set up a desk outside its office to register customers.

The promotion was taken to the STC hypermarket later the same day.

On Saturday Airtel Seychelles also opened its Victoria office, which had closed down for renovation. According to Mr Dina, the Victoria shop is now more spacious and has more counters to better cater for customers.
