Ochan! A new waterfront bistro at Eden Island |17 December 2022
Located on the docks of Eden Island, Ochan!, a waterfront restaurant/bistro, is a new addition to the food court at Eden Island.
Ochan! means cheers and celebration of life and this unique concept is one of a kind in Seychelles.
The restaurant, which opened its doors in October this year, offers a unique concept serving five dynamic cuisines under one roof.
Ravindran, the chef manager, explained that “we wanted to offer a unique product to Seychellois as well as visitors. With specially curated bar menu, latest groovy tunes and a dash of the local weather, outdoor seating and blissful view, we are sure to keep you wanting more!”
The décor itself is quite vibrant and the staff welcoming.
As main dish, the client can choose from the Western, Asian, Arabic, South Indiana and European cuisine. Some of the specialties are chicken hakka noodle, dosa chutney and sambar, sushi, fattoush, idly chutney and sambar, kebab meshwi, pad thai noodle, Pongal wada, schezwan chilli chicken, chicken satay, pork spare ribs among others.
On the menu, you can also find pastries such as apple pie, croissants, Danish pastries, doughnut, cheese cake, black forest, chocolate truffle cake, cupcake etc.
There is an open bar which also offers fresh juices and other spirits.
For the festive season, Chef Ravindran shared that Ochan! will be having Christmas dinner and Gala dinner for the New Year.
For those who want a private dinner, Ochan! waterfront bistro can cater for that.
