135 active cases of Covid-19 recorded |30 August 2022

A total of 135 active Covid-19 cases have been recorded by the Ministry of Health up to August 28.

The number of active cases last week was 151.

The 7-day moving average is down to 14 cases.

Meanwhile one Covid-19 related death of a person in the late 80s was reported during the past week raising the number of deaths to 169.

The highest number of reported current active cases is in Anse Royale (11), followed by Anse Boileau and Baie Lazare with 10 active cases each.

Presently there are no patients admitted at the Covid-19 treatment facilities.
