Health Tip Dr Adeline |12 March 2022

Recognise an allergic skin rash: An allergic rash is often red and itchy, in areas exposed to being touched. The skin area can usually be soothed by cool compress. When the cause is known, prevention involves avoiding exposure to the irritant. Visit your doctor if the rash starts suddenly and spreads quickly, if it affects the face or genitals, if it is painful, blistered or infected, if it is associated with a fever, or if it persists.
