Minister Devika Vidot conducts site visits at Anse Boileau to discuss business project proposals |27 December 2021
The Minister for Investment, Entrepreneurship and Industry, Devika Vidot, conducted a site visit last week in the district of Anse Boileau to discuss several project proposals by the district authorities.
The minister was accompanied on the visit by the MNA for Anse Boileau, Philip Arrisol, the Clerk to the MNA and the district administrator of Anse Boileau. Enterprise Seychelles Agency, an entity of the Ministry of Investment, Entrepreneurship and Industry, was also represented at the visit in order to drive the projects in collaboration with the district stakeholders.
The proposed projects discussed include kiosks for businesses to operate their small business by the beach, micro-enterprise centres for light manufacturing businesses and commercial activities. The aim is to drive further business development in the district.
Additionally, the delegation visited Maison Simone, which is a property owned by the Seychelles Pension Fund, but being managed by the Industrial Estates Authority (IEA). The tenants expressed their concerns to the minister and the CEO of IEA, Roy Collie, including proposals in order to improve their operations and bring further development to the property.
