Football federation rewards Family Hospital staff |27 December 2021
Twenty-nine doctors and nurses serving at the Family Hospital, Perseverance, were on Christmas eve presented with gift hampers from the Seychelles Football Federation (SFF).
The hampers were officially remitted to senior officials of the Health Care Agency (HCA) within the Ministry of Health, at the Red Roof building during the afternoon.
Senior nursing officer Jean-Paul Almaze, who is in charge of the isolation centre, was present along with principal nursing officer Marie-Antoinette Hoareau, to accept the tokens of appreciation, on behalf of the frontline workers giving their all in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to Ms Hoareau, the staff have agreed among themselves to share the hamper with an additional three staff at the hospital, as well as others serving at the neighbouring Coastguard Covid-19-centre facility.
The hampers include delectable Christmas puddings, cakes, chocolates and other goodies.
