Hilton Seychelles gets ‘Great Place to Work®’ certification

‘Great Place to Work®’, the global authority on workplace culture, has recognised Hilton as an employer of choice in the Seychelles as part of the awarding body’s annual certifications.

Great Place To Work® is a global initiative that allows companies to survey their employees, uncover actionable insights and get recognised for great company culture. It has identified five areas that have the greatest on measuring the success of an organisation – namely, Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride and Camaraderie. Employee responses to these categories are then used to measure whether an organisation should be certified as a ‘Great Place to Work®’.

In order to be certified as a Great Place to Work® the organisation must receive at least a 65% positive rating from its employees across all categories and subcategories as mentioned above. Hilton hotels in the Seychelles far exceeded this minimum requirement by achieving an average 94% positive rating across all statements.

Hilton Team Members’ survey responses revealed some interesting facts; one of the most highly scored statements was a 98% positive rating for the contribution that the resort makes to the community. Another very high scoring statement reflected the team’s sentiment that working at Hilton Seychelles is not just a job to them, it has great meaning.

Andre Borg, area general manager, Seychelles – Hilton, said:“We are honoured to have been recognised as a Great Place to Work in 2021. To know that we achieved such high scores is truly rewarding, especially as the feedback comes directly from our Team Members across our various Hilton properties in the Seychelles. We are beyond proud.”

Hilton currently operates four properties in the Seychelles – Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa; Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa; DoubleTree by Hilton Seychelles – Allamanda Resort & Spa; and Mango House Seychelles, LXR Hotels & Resorts; with two more properties – Waldorf Astoria Platte Island and Canopy by Hilton Mahé – in the pipeline.
