The 79th Independence Day will be celebrated in India on August 15, 2025, almost 80 years into freedom, progress, and unity. On this day, the country pays homage to the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters, contemplate the country’s journey so far, and inspire every citizen to embark on the path of creating a strong, inclusive, and vibrant India. In recognition of this auspicious day, Seychelles NATION sat down with the High Commissioner of India to Seychelles, Kartik Pande, to review some of the ongoing collaboration between Seychelles and India.
