Among those present were cabinet ministers, top civil servants and managers of businesses related to tourism, as well as representatives of the Seychelles Tourism Board.

Roeland Vos, president of Starwood Hotels & Resorts for Europe, Africa and the Middle called on President James Michel at State House earlier the same day and announced his company will be expanding in Seychelles.

He said, however, he could not give details before the company had discussed plans with its partners.
